English Master Institute’s programs are self-paced, allowing students to learn at their own convenience and pace. We have developed a unique system for our lectures that enhances the learning experience through interactive elements and engaging multimedia resources. All diploma and degree programs have been meticulously prepared to ensure comprehensive coverage of the subjects. Once a student registers, we swiftly prepare the admission certificate, student ID card, and a personalised study link known as the Book Study Room (BSR) or Course Reference App. The innovative EMI Book Study Room (BSR) is designed to streamline the learning process and comes with a unique password, referred to as the BSR code, which is essential for gaining access to the program for which a student is enrolled. Inside the Book Study Room (BSR), all lessons are organized and readily available, including assignments, links to submit assignments, the option to ask personal questions, and a seamless process to request examination links, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning journey tailored to meet each student’s needs.
BSR LINK RENEWAL
The BSR links (with the exception of downloadable Course Reference Apps) for the courses in the diploma or degree programs are set for a period of thirty days (one month), providing a structured timeline for students to follow. During this time, a student is expected to stay committed to his/her studies to ensure the lessons are completed the soonest. This commitment not only helps in mastering the course material but also encourages discipline and time management skills, which are vital for academic success. Students are encouraged to create a study schedule, allocating specific days and hours to focus on different subjects, thus maximizing their understanding and retention of the material. Moreover, engaging actively with the course activities and discussions can greatly enhance their learning experience, allowing for deeper insights and connections with the content.
If the link expires at the end of the thirty days, a student who is yet to complete the program before the expiration is required to request for another link, which comes with “a link renewal fee” of $1 for the diploma program and $2 for the degree program. This renewal process is important as it ensures that students have continuous access to the necessary resources and materials needed to successfully complete their academic requirements. It is advisable for students to monitor their progress closely and make timely requests to avoid any interruptions in their learning journey. Additionally, maintaining open communication with academic advisors can provide further clarity on deadlines and any potential extensions that may be available under special circumstances, ultimately supporting students in their pursuit of educational attainment.

LESSON STRUCTURE
For example, the number of lessons in the English language diploma program is 21, thoughtfully structured and segmented into 3 comprehensive sections, each comprising 7 lessons. This organization ensures that the students can absorb the material effectively, with well-crafted assignments following each lesson to reinforce learning. After completing each section of 7 lessons, a student is encouraged to request a link for the sectional/sessional examination, which serves as a critical checkpoint for their understanding and retention of the material before proceeding to the next section of lessons. In total, there are 3 sectional/sessional examinations in the English diploma program, each meticulously specified at the end of every section. These exams not only assess the students’ grasp of the content but also provide valuable feedback that can be used to improve their future studies, ensuring a robust educational experience that prepares students for practical application in real-world scenarios.
At the completion of the diploma program and all examination requirements, a student will fill in the graduation form, which serves as a formal application for their certification. Following this, the meticulously prepared International Accredited Diploma in the English language will be created and awarded, signifying the successful culmination of the student’s hard work and dedication. This not only marks a significant milestone in their educational journey but also opens up new avenues for personal and professional growth. The same thorough and supportive process is applicable for the degree programs, ensuring that all graduating students receive the recognition they deserve for their achievements and are well-prepared to embark on their future endeavors.

The bachelor’s degree program in English language, for example, comprises 8 semesters, and with specified assignments and projects after each semester. The bachelor’s degree program also has three sectional examinations. At the completion of the entire program, and all the assignments, projects, and examinations have been properly verified by the EMI International Examination Board, a student will proceed to fill the graduation form, after which the degree will be prepared for conferment.

The EMI master’s degree programs are more of thesis formation, which are based on painstaking research. At the competition of the thesis in a chosen elective(s) in a field of study, a student is to submit it to the EMI International Academic Board for objective assessment. The thesis is expected to be completed and submitted within a year. In a situation where a student is unable to complete his/her master’s project within the space of a year from the date of enrollment, a fee of 20% of the initial registration fee is to be paid for late submission of thesis. After passing the objective assessment satisfactorily, the student can then proceed to fill the graduation form, after which the master’s degree will be prepared for conferment.

- Kindly note that the EMI diploma and degree certificates are accompanied by an academic transcript accordingly. Additionally, note that we majorly award digital diplomas and degrees in two formats, which are designed to enable a recipient to print the hardcopy. A request for direct hardcopy of certificate from us comes with applicable fee, which is subject to the location of the student.

The EMI’s professional doctorate degree programs are based on personal publications, or the minimum of three research papers on the given field of study, or verifiable relevant projects, which shall be presented for objective assessment by the International Academic Board of English Master Institute and all affiliated global universities that make up the doctorate degree conferment board. English Master Institute only grants approval for the conferment of doctorate and/or professorship title if such dissertations, publications, or relevant projects meet the international policy of an original work.
DEGREE CONFERMENT CEREMONY
In line with the EMI International Academic Calendar, virtual degree conferment ceremonies are held twice a year: the first is in June in celebration of all the students who completed their programs within the first six months of the year; and the second ceremony is held in December in celebration of all the students who completed their programs within the second half of the year.
The above calendar does not affect the issuance of certificates for certificate or diploma programs. During the outlined graduation calendar, which is specifically for degree students, all students (including those for certificate and diploma programs) who graduated within the specified timeframe will be notified.
